As co-founder, Global MD, and CTO of Xebia Microsoft Services, Marcel has played a key role in growing a global consultancy practice focused on Azure, GitHub, and DevOps transformation. He has extensive experience working with leadership teams to create high-performance engineering cultures, enabling businesses to deliver software securely, efficiently, and at scale.
In addition to his role at Xebia, Marcel serves as an advisor to PackFiles, a company dedicated to helping organizations seamlessly migrate to GitHub. His expertise in cloud adoption strategies, DevOps best practices, and platform engineering helps guide the company in shaping its product and market approach.
Marcel is a recognized thought leader and public speaker, frequently presenting at industry events such as Microsoft Build, Ignite, Techorama, and Azure Lowlands. He is also part of the Techorama board and actively contributes to developer education through online training with Pluralsight. Marcel is also A Microsoft MVP for over 17 consecutive years and a Microsoft Regional Director since 2008. Marcel is passionate about helping organizations modernize their development processes and adopt cutting-edge technologies.
